Terrible company, think twice before switching to them...
Think Energy has very very poor customer service. Phone wait times can be up to an hour, or they never pick up the phone. They do not return calls or emails for customers like myself to resolve billing issues and overcharges. They lie about sending out notices when your contract expires. I never received notice of 3 yr ending contract and they increased my rate from .11 kw to .19 kw without any notification. When you finally reach a service rep they are not able to help you as they always say I will send your issue to my supervisor. This never occurs as I have never gotten any mail, emails or phone calls from anyone within Think Energies company. MA Energy department should ban Think from doing business in our state. |

Think twice before signing up...
I've been a Think Energy business customer for 5+ years, my plan was good, no issues. When my 3 yr renewal came due they never notified me of the contract expiration. Instead they raised my rate from .11 to .19 a KW, this increase cost me $150. After seeing the increase in billing it took me 15 phone calls to finally get a Rep to speak with. They don't pick up your calls or return them. Neither do they return your contact emails. When I asked about a new rate for 12 months they quoted me .15 a KW for 3 years. This was above others in the marketplace. When I told them that I would not renew they offered and lowered the rate to .129 a KW for 11 months. Their rate was a bit lower than others so I took the deal. The company is very poor on communication and customer/billing support. Prices are a bit lower than other companies. Overall not a good company to conduct business with. I will look for another company in the months ahead. |

It seems good to start, but breaking up is expensive
The rates seem good and they are, but when you try to switch providers you are caught in no mans land and they charge you their no contract which rate which is about double. Switching to my towns plan as cost me $75 on one bill and $95 on the next. I would have been better off canceling my contract and paying the fee. |

Poor communication regarding rate hikes. Scammed during pandemic with rate hikes. No options for forgiveness with billing. Customer service agent unwilling to listen or offer assistance.
Bills look like junk mail. Poor communication regarding variable rates and hiked up pricing. Would not recommend at all. Overall ZERO STARS |

Avoid Think Energy
Highly Fraudulent company that all should avoid. After my 2 year contract expired, they have nearly doubled my electric rates in less than a year without any notice. From 9 cents to nearly 17 cents. Also beware that moving to another provider is harder than you think. My move to Constellation was blocked and Im still paying these Fraudulent Think Energy rates. Getting things straight is requiring many many phone calls. When you Think Energy, Think Again! |
