Most Recent IGS Energy Reviews
IGS is a very reputable company for energy rates
Ive been an IGS customer for 7 years and they continue to provide competitive rates without price gouging the customer at the end of the contract! My IGS territory manager keeps me up to par with my rates and educate me on what the markets are doing! — Bruce from Canton OH
EDUCATE YOURSELF
I read the other review here and they don't sound very educated. ALL SUPPLIERS HAVE TERM LIMITS!! If you don't renew, you go variable! As for "being switched without knowing..." IGS has purchased several energy companies over the years....it's by default people.
Don't complain if you don't renew for a fixed rate, don't complain if you're past company was bought out because they did shitty business. I'm thankful IGS educates.
IF YOU DON'T ASK, YOU WON'T KNOW! — People Are Dimwits from Mansfield OH
Territory manager James basilone
I am very pleased with James basilone as my territory manager he came and introduced himself . I really like Igs as my supplier they are the best and work hard for there customers — Elizabeth stephenson from Monroeville PA

Plan Choice is Lacking
I was locked into a great rate for three years. My rate expired last month, and when I went to renew there is a total of ONE plan option. The rate offered is nearly .14c and that isn't competitive.
This is very sad really. I have never had any issue with billing and I haven't even had a need to contact customer service in the last three years. I wish the new rating structure was better because otherwise, this is a great company.

Scam Door to Door Sales
Company is a giant set of scams. The individual who came to the door to sign up for the account claimed that their rate would be cheaper than the previous rate I was paying. 1st bill came and it was not in fact cheaper as promised. In talking with customer service they claimed they would in fact cancel my account and waive the early termination fee. When I got my final bill from AEP using IGS what was on the bill but the Early Termination fee again. I had to call a second time to get that waved. Meanwhile the complaint with PUCO was closed when they claimed the salesperson who came to my door no longer worked for them less than 2 months after they signed me up and they told PUCO they were waiving the fee then as well. Do not answer the door or talk with this company.
